Draw Your Own Deck

Draw the outside perimeter of your deck using connected straight lines.

1. Left-click on the grid to place the starting corner.
2. Move clockwise around the deck and left-click to place each new corner.
3. After each line, type the exact measurement in millimetres and press Enter or click Confirm. Enter confirms only that line.
4. The recommended snap guide keeps horizontal and vertical lines straight. Move the pointer near the guide before placing the next corner.
5. Use the mouse wheel to zoom, right-click and drag to pan, and the arrow keys to move around the drawing.
6. Press Escape to cancel the current drawing. Double-click a confirmed line measurement to edit it.
7. Finish by clicking Complete Shape in the top-right corner, or join the final line back to the starting point.

Adjust Your Deck Shape

You can now adjust individual measurements of the shape by the following.

• Left click and drag a wall measurement.
• Left click and drag a corner measurement.
• Double Click on a measurement to enter a new value.

Add/Remove/Edit Breaker Board

• Left click on the deck where you would like to place a breaker board.
• Single right click on an existing breaker board to delete it.
• Right click, hold and drag to pan the drawing.
• Left click and hold to drag left/right and move an existing breaker board.

Add/Remove Edge Board

• Left click and tick the sides of the deck that require an edge board and fascia.
• Left click again to untick.

Upload Deck Plan

Trace the outside of the deck clockwise.

1. Click to choose the starting point.
2. Continue clicking clockwise around the outside of the deck.
3. After each line is placed, enter the exact measurement in millimetres.
4. Use the mouse wheel to zoom. Hold the right mouse button and drag anywhere on the drawing grid to pan.
5. Click the first point to complete the deck shape.
